Option to remain anonymous when submitting an Idea

The current settings in 'Configure Portals' reads ‘allow portal users to be anonymous’ however I’ve since confirmed that there isn’t an option to allow customer's to select this option if preferred. The selection of this box in the configuration means that all users will be anonymous. Without ticking this box, user names are visible. It would be good if there was an option on the idea submission page for the user to choose whether they wish to remain anonymous. Due to Data Privacy, the default option to hide portal user names is safest which is expected to reduce the use of the ideas portal.

Thank you for your idea. First and last name are actually optional fields for portal users creating their account. If they choose to leave these empty, their name will show on ideas and comments in the portal as "Guest."

This doesn't really exist. What I want, and what I think the original idea was for, is for SSO users to have the OPTION to be anonymous. Right now, we have an all or nothing situation when users are created with SSO. We are using this as an internal feedback tool, so we don't want to make the board public (having public ideas not indexable by Google would also help would also help). We'd prefer people post and comment with their identity because it helps reach out to get more feedback and better understand the issues, but we want people to have the option to "submit anonymously" so that people may submit feedback that they may feel uncomfortable sending with their name attached.

This would be a good feature for us! Right now admins have to go a remove the name because we use SSO, it would be nice if the user had the option to choose their portal visibility.
