Allow Grammarly to correct spelling and grammar while editing text in Aha! dialog boxes. [It appears they do but alas the changes Grammarly makes are never completed]
Thank you for the idea! You can now accept spelling and grammar suggestions from Grammarly and insert them into the Aha! text editor in notes, comments, description fields, and more.
To enable or disable these suggestions, use the “Check for writing suggestions on [your domain].aha.io” toggle in your Grammarly settings.
I do hope you will try and fix this issue and work with Grammarly as it is annoying to work in Aha and the suggestion show up but can't be selected.
This has to be such an easy change! Let's make it happen!
I've been using Grammarly for a while now and Aha is the only app that I've run across where Grammarly can't make changes. I'm assuming it is due to the rich text editor text. It would be good if you could update the editor to be compatible. Good writing is important to PMs and Grammarly is very helpful with writing well.
The rich text editor is an issue in general
it doesn't work on the Aha website on mobile
Along with that, the mobile app is pretty much useless
... So basically, because of the rich text editor, using Aha on mobile is not feasible
I think changing the rich text editor would help a lot here
As Grammarly has become more mainstream in the corporate world, it's a big deal that AHA doesn't support this functionality.
I thought Grammarly would bail Aha out with the desktop version of the app, but alas, it still does not work. Aha needs to fix this thing that works in every other website I use. Small things make the difference. This needs to be fixed.
Driving me nuts
Yeah, super annoying that this doesn't work in the Aha! UI. It works generally with all other web apps. But not Aha!
It doesn't even work in this comment UI - perhaps you start there. Small things are usually the cause of customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction. This is a small thing...
Hi Hi, Is there any update on this?
I posted on Grammarly support. This was their response:
"Thanks for your patience while we were looking into this.
Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a quick fix, but please rest assured that our team has been made aware of the issue. I can’t provide you with an estimated timeframe right now because the developers need some time to analyze the cause of the issue.
In the meantime, we suggest you use the Grammarly Editor or Grammarly's desktop app. Also, Grammarly for Microsoft Office is at your disposal."
Agree this is very annoying. I understand this is somehting we should also raise with Grammarly but could Aha! also do that and provide a tracking number where we can feedback.
Hi, would you please consider changing your opinion as Aha seems to be the only service that doesnt support Grammarly. Thanks
Why isn't Aha directly working with Grammarly and fixing this issue instead of giving customers a run around?
It's extremely annoying the Grammarly plugin doesn't work in the AHA! editor! Please fix this. There's a resource available on Grammarly that you guys can use: https://medium.com/engineering-at-grammarly/building-the-grammarly-extension-718497e3760d
Darn, I just ran into this as I have started using the Notes feature more lately. It's really frustrating that Aha!'s editor appears to be preventing Grammarly from applying the recommended edits.
If the notes are encouraged and utilized as Wiki, Grammarly suggestions should be considered to help reduce typos, simple mistakes etc.
Agreed! Very frustrating a basic chrome extension won't work. It works on every other site I've entered data into...why not aha!?
Hi there, thank you for your idea. It is unlikely that we will make changes here as any improvements needed would be very unclear and additional changes made on the Grammarly side could easily cause issues. We would recommend sharing this request with Grammarly. Thanks!
