Hide Master releases from Gantt Roadmap Reports/Views

I manage a program across multiple product portfolio, one that uses master releases per quarter and one that does not. When I try to pull a release roadmap report, there isn't a way to hide the master releases from the view. I've solved this problem temporarily by putting the roll-up release name in my row, but that option takes up a lot of real estate on my report. I've had to sort that product with the extra roll-up releases to the bottom of my Gantt view so it doesn't take over the full screen when the report is first displayed.
