Workspace configurations allow for multiple portals in a single workspace. However, the visibility of ideas in that workspace are currently tied to both portals. It would be helpful to specify which portal that idea can be visible to. This would allow curators of ideas in a workspace to only watch one workspace while allowing different audiences to submit and view ideas relevant to their own needs.
The ability to specify idea visibility at a workspace level is key. We have different audiences and hence different idea portals into the same workspace. A setting to not allow ideas submitted from one portal to be visible in another is key.
In our scenario, we have different areas in the same product that cater to different audience/needs. We want each audience to be able to propose/vote on ideas without being cluttered with information from other areas not relevant to them.
We are trying to create separate portals for employees and customers. In addition to keeping the two groups of ideas separate, we also want to make sure customers don't see the employee ideas.
This is important so that we can avoid creating "pseudo" workspaces to map "internal portals" to. It is a clumsy way to manage this very simple need. Aha! should seriously look into adding this capability.
Yep this make it very hard to have a customer specific portal and a generic internal portal without the customer seeing all of the ideas submitted even ones we don't want them to see.
