Ability to filter based on phase and milestone characteristics in Gantt chart

This idea is useful because it allows you to filter through the various phases and milestones of releases. This is very handy if a release is quite complex and therefore has a large quantity of phases and milestones

    New filters for Gantt charts

    Keep what is important and filter out the rest — use new filters for features, epics, and release phases to make it easier to tailor views for different audiences.

    Sadly still not available to filter by phases or milestones.

    Couldn't agree more with this request. We have a lot of milestones and phases, and depending on the audience, not all phases need to be visible. Why this chart doesn't contain a filter for phases and milestones is a mystery to me.

    We manage large number of products and projects using Aha! 

    We would like to have a report that shows feature dependencies between features in different products and releases. Currently we are using Dependency report to surface the dependencies. However, we are not able to show any delivery misalignment in the releases. For example, Feature A in Product X depends Feature B in Product Y but Feature B is being released after Feature A. We want a report to highlight this problem visually. 

    It is possible to see this visually in the Release Gantt chat.  But we have many phases in each releases. In order surface the delivery misalignments with our stakeholders, the report would have include all phases in the releases that are not meaningful or highlight the problem.

    We suggest the following solutions in the order of preference:

    • Add support to show dependency (visually) in Roadmap Report 
    • Ability to show only Feature in Release Gantt
    • Add filter for Phase and Milestone in Release Gantt (ex: Include only "Development" phase)
