We would like to allow our users to configure a digest for their notification subscriptions in the ideas portal. Ideally, they would be able to customize how often they receive notifications (immediately, daily, weekly) for each subscription they have.
It would be nice if they can customize the types of events they receive notifications for as well. For example, new idea posts, comments, admin comments, up-votes
I am receiving the email digest from aha with fields “New votes” and “New comments” showing always 99+
Is possible to setup those 2 fields to use 3 or 4 digits in order to see every week the real numbers?
Is there any update on this idea other than it is likely to be implemented?
This would be very beneficial! Some of our portal users are adamant about providing answers, feedback, and advice to new posts. They have frequently asked for personalized notification settings where they can be notified every time a new post is submitted regardless if they are subscribed or not.
We have one user (a large enterprise organization) who has voted 800 times on 500 ideas - that is a lot of email for them to digest.
Our guests are frustrated that they can't sign up for digest updates instead of instant notifications. Thankfully they are participating a lot but it is creating noise and clutter. We are concerned this may drive abandonment.
Hello, this idea is 4 years old; when do you think that this will be implemented?
Better subscription capability is indeed a strong need. Another tool that was used for enhancement requests allowed folks to subscribe to receive notifications about new requests for a product, and even more specifically new requests for categories within a product. This was very useful to ensure awareness of all new ideas for the category or product to be able to comment and vote on them. Hundreds of subscribers made use of this type of function in that other tool.
We're receiving stromng customer feedback that is frustrated by the limited nature of subscriptions in a portal.
They'd like summary digest, ability to follow a specific product and filter to get notified only of new ideas etc.
