When converting features to releases, leave traceability like with idea promotion, and close original item
It would be very useful for me to be able to see the original item that gets converted, ie a feature to a release, or vice versa. This is a great feature that you can do this in the first place, but my team would get a lot of use out of having the original entity item still in Aha, and closed or otherwise "completed." I really like the green areas that result in the respective entities when you promote from ideas, so something like this type of visibility to show the origin of the release that was a feature would be great.

Hi, I apologize for the misinterpretation as I realize you cannot convert releases to features or vice-versa. I would like to keep the request open for all other conversion types that you guys do support, for example Feature to Initiative, or Requirement. Converting is a great function, since product planning is fluid and my team often reassesses what we thought was a "feature" and may turn out to be another object-type. Being able to see in Aha though where these various objects originated really helps us keep context alive.
