Aha! integration with JIRA does not notify users on errors that would have happened during the integration (i.e. push/pull). This keeps the users in dark on what would have gone wrong and requires manual intervention to detect errors.
Good news — this is now available.
Workspace admins can configure Jira integration alerts to proactively notify selected recipients when the integration encounters issues. Alerts can be enabled for Authentication, Configuration, and Other error types, which helps surface common problems such as mapping changes, missing fields, and other sync-related failures.
To use this, go to the Jira integration settings for the workspace and add the appropriate recipients for alerts.
One note: recipients need to be configured explicitly, so be sure to add the admin or team members who should receive these notifications.
A good example here are file attachments flowing from Aha! to JIRA when the file size is bigger than the JIRA system default (Currently 10Mb I believe).
Instead of getting an error message, the file just fails to send to JIRA.
