Ask portal users for further details Merged

Often times - and it might very well be the case here =) - the idea submitted by a portal user is unclear. The problem they want to solve is not specific enough or too much solution-oriented already.

When this happens, we ask for further details, trying to get a better understanding of the problem. But we have to either do that in the middle of all comments, or outside the system (usually an external email).

Would it be possible to contact the portal user directly through Aha? And collect his answer in the system as well? In a private section?

yep, have the very same need over here.

I'd love to have the ability to create a private comment to only one or more specifically selected portal users, which are then also only visibile to those portal users. and where they could "reply" to that comment, with inheriting the same visibility for the replies.

Nevertheless there'll still be the need for email exchanges and to setup some call, meeting, screen sharing session with one or multiple external (and internal) parties. That needs interaction about scheduling and finally a calendar entry with connection/meeting details. for such purpose it would in any case great to have an easy-to-use option (with one click on a portal user name) to have an email created, "To:" that users email address, a "Subject:" reflecting the Idea title and copy of the idea URL in the "Body" of the email. ... today that is a horrible complicated user experience.
