User Story Mapping tweaks

The new user story mapping is a great added feature. the user experience is a little off vs. the rest of Aha though.

* Is there any way to add customization of the cards
* Should be able to not show completed releases or features in the add existing
* When clicking on the Feature reference and number, it should open the details

From here add another view for story pointing (A-I-7836 Agile Affinity Story Pointing for Features )

I'd love customization of the cards, too.

Basically, I'd like to have epics, features, and user stories on the story map (instead of steps, epics, features). But as a workaround I'd like to see my stories as part of the card. Something like:

    Cooles Feature

    • Story 1

    • Story 2

    • Story 3

    Thanks for your feedback!

We've implemented the following changes you all recommended:

    1. In addition to the user story map card’s […] menu, clicking on the card’s ID now opens its drawer

    2. Only the Add release button itself will create a release vs clicking anywhere along the release line

We will continue to prioritize the other items discussed in this idea.

    Thanks!

It's waaaay to easy to accidentally create releases while creating user story maps -- at least when adding existing features.  I also heartily agree that features with certain statuses, such as Shipped and Removed should not be shown in the list of existing features.  This would be true for epics as well.

If you could look at the features on the map without the release breakdown, that would help with the full view, especially across user maps. I like that a feature can be in multiple user maps. and, it would be cool if there was an icon that would indicate a feature is in multiple user maps.
