Have the option to populate the value of a linked release into an idea on the portal

We want the option to show the release name and release date on the Ideas portal once a idea is promoted. curently there is no way to do this.

    There are several new standard fields that you can now add to your ideas portal layout to keep folks up-to-date about what you are working on. This includes who the idea is assigned to, its tags, and its product value score. You can also add details about the record an idea was promoted to — like the feature name and status or the release name and date. Note: the release fields will only show after the idea has shipped.

    This would be of tremendous help to track the delivery of ideas per future patches and releases. This would also allow sorting the ideas in anticipation of the release planning and during the review process.

    Hi there,
    After further testing found that I am unable to add a Custom field to my ideas form or Ideas portal layouts if I had not included these at creation. Looks like this capability is somehow lost now. I remember being able to do that before.
    In this instance, one of the groups had already started using the custom field on the ���Ideas layout��� and has values. So I cannot delete and recreate from scratch. Appreciate if you can help here. Thanks.

    Hi there,
    I was trying to add an ideas custom field ���Target Release��� to ���Ideas portal layout���. But I do not see this field under the available fields. I remember doing this before for other fields, where I added a custom field to Ideas, ideas forms & ideas portal layouts. But now, I am unable to do this. The field is currently available on ���Ideas layout���. Does it have to do with how I had created the field? Cannot figure this out. Appreciate if you can let me know what I am doing wrong.

    For me it makes sense to connect it to the admin response once an idea linked feature is planned for a specific release.
