Bulk select workspaces when filtering work requests

What is the challenge?
  • When creating a report of work requests, the filter for assignees is just a long list of every product line / product in our organization with no obvious sorting.

  • I personally have 100+ products and product lines to support, so finding just the ones I need is very difficult without the general hierarchy availability.

  • To add to the difficulty, the list is so long that the entire list cannot be provided and when I search for some workspaces I get a "not found" notice. I have no way of knowing if that means if there is an issue or if there is just nothing currently assigned to that product.

What is the impact?
  • Teams that need to process work requests have a very difficult time accessing outstanding work requests in reports.

  • As work requests dynamically change, we don't know if we need to update reports or not to not miss any work requests.

  • A lot of wasted time spent squinting at the list and still not knowing if everything was selected or not.

Describe your idea.
  • Organize the assignee list based on the product line / product hierarchy and allow for bulk updates. (Similar to the solution for https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-20460)

  • Do not filter out based on no data available since requests will come / go in a particular product, but the filter should not have to be dynamic for the report.

Have the same issue as Cheryl. Seems like filtering, sorting, and reporting on work requests continues to be painful. Even in assigning a work request, I add in the product name and it literally just gives me the product name and none of its children like it does in the workspace hierarchy on the top left where it will give me the children. Reports we have on work requests is a hit or miss on what it will display and it's very frustrating.
