Initiative and goal filters aligned with workspace filters

What is the challenge?

• When a shared roadmap or report includes both workspace and initiative or goal filters, the initiative and goal filters can still display initiatives and goals from outside the selected workspace. This happens because initiative and goals filters are not constrained by workspace filter selections when cross-workspace links exist.

• As a result, users must manually narrow the initiative or goal filter values to avoid showing irrelevant initiatives or goals.

What is the impact?

• This makes shared views harder to configure and maintain.

• It increases the risk of showing irrelevant strategic records in roadmap views and shared webpages.

• It creates confusion for users who expect initiative or goal options to automatically match the selected workspace scope.

• It adds extra setup steps when preparing filtered views for broader audiences.

• Add an option for initiative and goal filters to respect workspace filter selections.

• When a workspace filter is applied, the initiative or goal filters should only display initiatives and goals associated with the selected workspaces

• This could be offered as default behavior or as a configurable setting, so teams can choose whether strategic filters should show all linked initiatives and goals or only those within the selected workspace scope.
