Ability to utilize Organizations Fields in Idea Portal Forms

What is the challenge?

• Idea Portal forms do not allow the use of organization fields (despite having ideas advanced activated). Due to this, a custom field has to be created to capture customers names at the time of idea submission. (We do not have customers directly submitting ideas, and due to this people can submit ideas for any customer).

• The management of this custom customer field requires constant maintenance as we constantly have customers being added - when this information is already directly imported into aha through our salesforce integration.

What is the impact?

• Constant maintenance of a custom field (actually 3 fields because this field exists on Epics, Features AND Ideas)

• This is frustrating, time consuming, and repetitive.

Describe your idea.

• The organization fields already exists on the idea layout, allow that same field to be pulled into the idea portal.
