What is the challenge?
Elle can draft text and follow custom instructions for voice and style. But it cannot produce a full structured document that follows an exact template, enforces specific formatting rules, and checks its own output against team standards.
What is the impact?
Product teams rely on consistent document formats: feature specs, positioning documents, design requirements, bug reports, 1:1 agendas. When these are written inconsistently, engineering gets ambiguous specs, stakeholders get confusing updates, and institutional knowledge degrades.
Describe your idea.
Teams define document templates in workspace settings that specify sections, required fields, formatting rules, and example output. You provide Elle with a record reference or short description and select a template. Elle generates a complete, standards-compliant document. Elle can also review a draft against a template and flag deviations: missing sections, terminology errors, formatting inconsistencies, or style violations.
