Allow record selectors to accept URLs

What is the challenge?

• When pasting a URL into the input box for record selectors, the value is not recognized. The dropdown only matches on name and reference number — it does not accept full record URLs.

What is the impact?

• This breaks a natural workflow: users copy a record URL from the record pill and then paste it into selectors (e.g. record link modal, promote idea modal). Because URLs are ignored, they must re‑search by name or reference, adding friction and slowing down linking and promotion.

Describe your idea.

• Allow record selector inputs (such as in the record link and promote idea modals) to accept full record URLs in addition to names and reference numbers. When a valid record URL is pasted, the selector should resolve it to the corresponding record and select it automatically.
