Some teams use the Ideas module as a task management tool without promoting work to a full roadmap. There is currently no way to track or display progress on an idea record.
Teams that live in Ideas can't communicate or visualize how far along a piece of work is without leaving the record or promoting it to a feature. This creates a gap for teams that want lightweight progress tracking without a full product development workflow.
Add ability to add progress indicator to the Ideas record type, either as a visual progress bar that calculates automatically from completed to-dos, a manual percent complete field, or both. This would bring Ideas in line with other record types that already support progress tracking and better serve teams using Ideas as a standalone work management tool.
