Segment splits in Pie charts should behave consistently

I have created two pie charts in exactly the same way, one for outstanding To Dos and the other for outstanding Approvals. They are split by assignee. In the Approvals pie chart we get one segment per individual person. In the To Do pie chart we get one segment per 'group' of persons assigned to the To Dos (so for example if a To Do is assigned to both John and Paul, there will be a segment for 'John, Paul') See attached example

Inconsistent reporting can lead to confusion or outstanding tasks being missed

Either allow the option to choose between splitting by individual assignee or group of assignees
Or
Make both reports consistent - my preference would be to split by individual assignee
