Improve UX when adding a non working day in user schedule

When I add a non working day such as a holiday to the user schedule (Capacity > Individual > Edit work schedule) the date from defaults to 1st Jan and the date to defaults to 31st Dec
Typically a change to a users schedule would not involve them being out for the entire year

Having to scroll through the months to get to the correct one

Default the 'from' date to today and the end date to tomorrow
