What is the challenge? |
Currently, AI credit limits in Aha! are enforced at the individual user level. For organizations managing large numbers of users, especially across multiple teams, this creates administrative overhead. Administrators must manually track and adjust credit limits user‑by‑user which is inefficient. |

What is the impact? |
Managing AI credits at the individual level makes governance more complex and time‑consuming. It also reduces visibility into AI usage across teams. Since paid seat groups are already the primary mechanism for license management and cost allocation, the lack of paid seat group level credit controls limits our ability to manage capacity effectively and ensure equitable resource distribution. |
Describe your idea |
We would like the ability to define and enforce AI credit limits at the paid seat group level. This would allow administrators to assign a single credit pool to each paid seat group, with usage rolling up to that group. Implementing paid seat group level credit governance would streamline administration, improve visibility into AI consumption at the team level, and align credit management with existing licensing structures. Additionally, providing optional overrides for individual users, when needed. It would retain flexibility while minimizing operational friction. |
