Add a reportable field to the workspace settings table that indicates whether a workspace is “in sync” or “out of sync” with its workspace template.

What is the challenge?

Workspaces can become out of sync with their workspace templates (for example, when workflows or other governed settings diverge). While this status is visible within the configuration area of each individual workspace, it is not exposed as a reportable field in the workspace settings table.

As a result, there is no centralised way to identify which workspaces are in sync and which are not.

What is the impact?

  • Increases the risk of configuration drift going unnoticed, leading to inconsistent workflows, approvals, and reporting

  • Makes audits, operational readiness checks, and ongoing governance significantly more time-consuming

  • Administrators must manually open and inspect the settings of every workspace to verify alignment with templates

This creates unnecessary overhead for enterprise customers who rely on workspace templates to enforce standards.

Describe your idea

Add a reportable field to the workspace settings table that indicates whether a workspace is “in sync” or “out of sync” with its workspace template.

This field could be a simple boolean or status indicator (e.g. In sync / Out of sync) and should reflect the same state currently shown within the individual workspace configuration view. This should be for any configuration setting that can possibly go out of sync with the template (i.e. workflows, scorecards etc)

Making this information reportable would allow administrators to:

  • Quickly identify misaligned workspaces

  • Filter, sort, and audit configuration health at scale

  • Proactively maintain governance without manual, workspace-by-workspace inspection

This would significantly improve operational visibility while preserving existing template controls.
