What is the challenge? |
Currently, our invite email templates include dummy text that’s highlighted in green to indicate to users what they need to customize before sending.
However, during a customer feedback session, we observed that users often highlight the green text and type directly over it (instead of deleting it completely).

What is the impact? |
This causes mild frustration and confusion, as users believe they’ve completed the required edits but don’t understand why they still can’t send the invite. Sometimes they have to rewrite their copy completely to resolve this. |
Describe your idea |
The “Send invite” button should enable once all dummy text has been replaced, regardless of highlight styling. Is it also possible to automatically remove the green highlight once a user starts typing within a highlighted section, to help visually confirming that section is “complete?" |
