Allow Milestones on the Custom Roadmap to connect to records

What is the challenge?

Currently, it's possible to manually add Milestones to a Custom Roadmap in Aha!, but there is no functionality to link these Milestones to existing record dates, such as Releases, Features, or Initiatives.

What is the impact?

When Milestones are used to represent records that already exist in Aha! (e.g., a Release date), they must be manually added and maintained. This creates a risk of inconsistency — if the date on the actual record changes, users must remember to update the corresponding Milestone on each Custom Roadmap manually. This is inefficient and error-prone, especially in complex projects.

Describe your idea

Enhance the Custom Roadmap functionality to allow Milestones to either remain as manually entered items (as they do today) or be linked to existing records in Aha! such as Releases, Epics, or Features.

When a Milestone is linked to a record, it should automatically update if the associated record’s date changes. This would ensure alignment across roadmaps and reduce the administrative overhead of manually syncing data.
