We've enhanced the recycle bin in several ways to support this use case:
Renamed "Created by" to "Deleted by" to clearly show who deleted the record
Added Assigned user field to help identify deleted records by their assigned users
Added Last record state fields to help identify records by their status before deletion
Added filters to make it easier to track down specific records
You can now click on reference numbers to view more details about deleted records

The fields that are provided in the recycle bin do not give enough information to quickly identify the item to retrieve. Even having the Ref ID available would help identify the item. Team members tend to remember their feature/epic number more than the title.
