Multi-select and clear categories filter in ideas portal

What is the challenge?

Within idea portals, users can select a category as a filter and this applies a filter to the list of ideas.

Challenges:

1. Want to be able to multi-select categories as part of my filter. Want to see a view of all the categories I have interest in, not just 1 by 1.

2. Want an easy way to clear the filter. I have a long list of categories in my portal and the user needs to scroll back down the list to clear the existing filter. Want a simple way to clear the filter from the top of the page.

What is the impact?

Difficult for users to work through the ideas portal and filter for relevant ideas.
