Add ability to turn off sprint velocity calculation in Aha! Develop

What is the challenge?

Currently, a Team members' velocity is calculated from the work they have completed in the previous three sprints — and updates after every completed sprint. If they have not yet completed work in a sprint, their velocity is based on the Default velocity in their schedule.

Previous sprints are often not a good reflection of a team member or teams actual velocity, meaning their sprint capacity calculations in Aha! Develop can look wrong.

What is the impact?

Auto calculating a the velocity can be confusing when a specific value for velocity has been set within a work schedule. Many teams want to keep using the same velocity value in every sprint. Currently, they need to manually reset their velocity for every user ahead of every sprint to overwrite the calculated value.

Describe your idea

Add team setting to remove the auto-calculation of velocity within a work schedule used in Aha! Develop. The default could continue to be automated for existing teams, but this would offer other teams the flexibility they need.
