Allow automations to set values to null Merged

What is the challenge?

Currently automations cannot clear a value on a field (e.g. predefined choice set to no value or text fields set to empty string)

What is the impact?

The empty value is a valid value in many cases, not being able to set it reduces the usability of automation

Describe your idea

I have several custom fields which are set to a value during the item lifespan. When the item (e.g. a requirement) reaches a specific state (typically a closed state like "Shipped"), I'd like to be able to set the custom fields to an empty (null) value.

This is currently not possible, I cannot set a choice list field to no value, or even a text field to an empty string.
