In the meantime, I wanted to share that we recently updated the goals and initiatives drop downs to make it clearer which goals and initiatives are in your current workspace.
You can also archive the goals and initiatives you are no longer working on and that will remove them from the drop down.
My organization needs this, too. New users especially find the huge list of options confusing and overwhelming because they only want to see the information for their own workspace.
