Use today() with custom worksheets Merged

What is the challenge?

I need to be able to build a custom formula in a worksheet to determine when a proxy vote (which includes opp information) is expired/ no longer active.

What is the impact?

We have proxy votes representing expired opportunities, which could artificially inflate the number of proxy votes

Describe your idea

Being able to use today() in a custom worksheet calculation would help us get a more exact/accurate number of proxy votes (which can represent open opportunities) because we could determine if the opp date would have been expired or not using a custom calculation.
