What is the challenge? |
Certain documentation in a knowledge base only applies to a subset of users (ex: product-specific, admin guides, different versions). If you don't want all users to see those documents, then you must create separate knowledge bases for each group. |
What is the impact? |
It would be easier to manage a single knowledge base that could show and hide documents to certain users. |
Describe your idea |
A KB manager could tag which documents apply to certain segments of users, and then set up their SSO to identify which users should be able to access those sets of documents. The KB would only show those documents to the correct users. |
