Ability to interact with report filters on dashboard

What is the challenge?

The filters used to generate a report do not appear on the dashboard panel of that report, so to update them you need to open the full report and save your changes, then return to the dashboard.

What is the impact?

This makes for a clunkier user experience. To make things easy for non-Aha! expert stakeholders, I then need to create separate pre-filtered dashboard and report versions. This creates its own complexity, making it hard to navigate to the correct place for stakeholders who would need to see multiple dashboard versions.

Describe your idea

It would be ideal to have the filters appear at the top of a report panel when the report is embedded into the dashboard. Then, the user could update the filters easily and see live changes to the report in the dashboard, allowing them to see multiple cuts of the data without accessing separate pre-filtered dashboards and without requiring advanced knowledge of how to filter Aha! reports.
