Add PDF preview option to KBs

What is the challenge?

It can be helpful to share PDF with your audience/stakeholders for use cases such as:

  • Forms

  • Scanned documents

  • Heavily formatted documents

However, today they can only be shared as a link to download a document.

What is the impact?

The user has to download the document and leave the KB page to view it.

Describe your idea

Allow for PDFs to be previewed/embedded in the page itself on a KB.

    It is now possible to add PDFs as separate documents in workspaces and knowledge bases. To add a single PDF, navigate to the Knowledge tab, click the Add button in the Knowledge tab, and select Link or file. Then, click the PDF tab and upload your document. You can also add PDFs in bulk through workspace settings > Import documents. Learn more here.
