What is the challenge? |
We heavily use the Organizations custom field in Aha to map customer engagement and roadmap transparency and need that info to sync to our Jira instance. |
What is the impact? |
Disconnected systems, duplicate data entry, poor user and customer experience. |
Describe your idea |
Add custom fields of type 'Organization' to Jira sync capability. Destination field in Jira should be a pre-defined multi-select pick list as well. |
An "organizations" custom field on features, epics, and other records can now be synced to Jira. In your integration, go to the mapping step, add a field, and select your organization custom field. Then map it to a tag, dropdown, or text field in Jira. Now your Jira users can see which customers are impacted by a feature. This integration only works one way, sending data from Aha! to Jira.
We are currently implementing organizations, importing from Salesforce with plans to have full Salesforce integration. This will be a significant challenge, as it is essential for our development team to have clear visibility into the features requested by our customers.
This would solve problems for us. We currently inherit the organization from SF but then have to go choose it again for it to flow correctly to JIRA. Major pain
I know 3 votes is not that much but this one seems like an obvious one that is a must!
