Link history for converted records

What is the challenge?

When converting records from one type to another, e.g. from requirement to feature, the history should be retained. When looking in the history for the new record I should be able to see the changes that also happened on the old record.

How would you solve it?

Store a record when doing a record conversion that links the old and new IDs. Then in the history dialog also consider history records from the chain of old IDs for the current record.

What impact would it make?

Make all record changes in Aha! auditable.
