How should it work? |
It should work exactly like the current bulk edit option does, but the list of fields that can be edited should not be limited to those shared across the selected workspaces. Workspace owners should be able to utilize this approach to add values for workspace-level custom fields that are not assigned to their workspace's layout. In practice, as an admin team, we would ask workspace owners to visit a list report, find their workspaces, and update the values for the custom fields (as part of auditing the workspace usage). By introducing the functionality described above, we can accomplish our audit needs without having to manage/modify an ever evolving number of workspace templates. |
