When we send features over to Jira initially, any comments that are on the feature don't get sent. If we add comments after the integration link is established, it works fine. But that initial transfer of data doesn't seem to include comments. I checked Mappings, and it includes comments.

Thank you for this idea! At this time, integrations only sync comments once a link has been established. I'm going to merge this with another idea where we are monitoring this feedback.
