Pivots and/or Charts for initiatives and goals could be very powerful
Hello,
I am putting together pivot report showcasing goals and initiatives for 2023. Initiatives are distributed into columns based on initiative timeframe field / in our case smth like 2023/ALL, 2023/Q1, 2022/Q2 and so on.
Considerations
Please take into account it is created among 10+ workspaces. This is a cross-workspace idea.
Please take into account that such pivot report is quite likely the only way how to visualize initiatives per their timeframe with goals pretty well for the stakeholders.

To considerably increase usefulness of strategy module in aha.io

To enable cross-workspace (cross-product) planning of initiatives

To implement changing of a time frame field in pivot reports via drag and drop action in the pivot report itself

To implement changing of a time frame field in chart reports for initiatives and goals via drag and drop action in the chart itself

Currently the view is really not appealing to users (tested on our country representatives at work). Not lovable at all. Maybe you could add alternative to show configurable cards like in planning boards or kanban boards?

Example of use
That would be immensely lovable is to have the ability to move initiatives to another cell = to set and see immediatelly change to another quarter as a value in a time frame field of the initiative. Very fast. Very intuitive.

giving pivot report the ability to enable drag and drop mode ...... "the solution"
Related solutions for consideration
give charts on goals and initiatives the ability to define axis based on existing fields.. e.g. timeframes.. but also complexity estimate.
allow charts to have more then 2x2 matrix
add way more whiteboarding features to the charts. at least colors.. I heard from few business representatives that charts are really ugly compared to what they prepare in other simple and free of charge tools
There is much unrealized value to be exploited. IMHO. Howgh :-).
