Change values from a list report directly Merged

I want to change a value in an epic or feature in a list report, without going through a number of hurdles. For example when reviewing a number of epics, I want to update the epic start date for one of them.

If I want to change one field I would have to either:

• open the epic page,

• wait for the entire page and all comments to load(can take up to multiple minutes)

• scroll down to the field I want to change

• click on the field

• change value

Or

• click the checkbox on the record I want to change

• click bulk edit

• click the checkbox for the field I want to change

• select the correct value

• click apply

• wait for the bulk change dialog to disappear

Both of these methods are very cumbersome when the only thing I would want to do:

• click the field I want to update

• select the correct value
