Roadmap should only include release goals

I have created a dashboard epics roadmap and saved it as a view. When I filter what I want to show, I choose goals under the releases section so I can show what broad goals we're trying to focus on for that release.

However, the goals in the final roadmap are not what are listed under the release goals, but are the goals that are listed in all the epics under that release. And usually, most epics tie to more than one broad goal leading to every release having almost every goal cluttering up the roadmap, when in fact, the roadmap should only show the goals that are present inside the release.
