Support markdown in the description editor

I write most of my text in a plain text editor like Sublime Text or Notepad++, and use Markdown for formatting, to focus on the text and not have to worry about formatting.
Attempting to copy markdown-text (plain text) into the description box here in Aha makes the editor behave very weirdly, where the cursor will sometimes disappear if I attempt to navigate between the lines.

If I could either write with markdown directly in Aha, or could import the text (converting markdown to Aha formatting) that would save me a lot of time and frustration.
