When promoting an idea to a Feature or Epic(Existing), and when linking to another record, the list of items to be linked is not filtered by product / workspace. This creates a very long list of irrelevant items to get past if you are browsing to find the correct one. That list is filtered by most recent, according to Aha!. However, the Merge dialog is filtered by product and shows only ideas, too.
It would be great if the promotion and linking dialogs were filterable by Product / Workspace to make the task easier than trying to search within this small window.
Would love to see this enhancements as it would make linking ideas/features etc easier and consume less time of having to scroll through all different workspaces.
Though my comment was specific to promotion, this is also critical for the link to for the same reasons.
This would be extremely helpful, especially if at the workspace level, we were able to specifically choose workspaces to promote to. For example, I may want to promote only to the parent workspace that this record is in. OR I may want to promote to several select workspaces (ex. either my team's or my partner team's). This is critical for an organization with MANY workspaces like mine. Not having this ability leads to a lot of confusion where folks "lose" their record and/or promote multiple times to multiple workspaces creating unnecessary and confusing duplicates.
Would love to see this enhancement, when you have thousands of features it is a big pain to go through the whole list
Hi William, thank you for your feedback. Would you be willing to share a bit more about your workflow? Is the challenge that you need to promote an idea but do not know whether there is an existing feature to promote it to?
This is a super critical enhancement. Could even consider it a deal-breaker to use Aha for any large-scale company that wants to manage products in one project. Splitting into many projects to only see a specific list of features is just contrary to the point of having one tool for all feature requests.
As a PM I need to EASILY know if something has been promoted already to a feature (without having to comb through all exisiting features across the entire project and product line, but rather be able to apply filters for the workspace [or even more granularity] to gauge if a new feature is needed or if a new idea should just be linked to an existing feature)
