We have a need to driver some automations based on values in worksheet custom field but Aha! doesn't allow us to select worksheet custom fields while creating automation rules.

We are also looking to use an automation rule, where a worksheet field calculates the earliest Start Date (custom field) and latest End Date (custom field) from a Requirement to represent the Feature's start and end dates to automatically keep gantt charts and roadmaps in sync with the current state in our development tools.
Currently we can only display the worksheet fields on the feature which is very limiting for rolling up to the Release and using the native Start and End Date fields in Aha with reports.
I would like to have this ability so that I could update a field based on a worksheet value. Scenario: I am using a worksheet field on a Company Initiative to calculate the RAG statuses for it's related workspace Initiatives. I need the ability to have that end result calculation populate the RAG status for the Company Initiative.
@Nathaniel -- This would be great if worksheet fields could be updated with the automation. A use case here is to capture a date when another field is updated as a time stamp for future reference. We are using a worksheet rather than individual custom field because we are capturing many date fields and want to be efficient in the layout.
This would be very helpful idea. based on custom equation value , I should be able to update different field or a related record with automation rules.
My use case: I've created a worksheet on master features that looks at all features in a master feature and presents the min and max dates. I want the master feature's "Start on" and "Due on" dates to be driven by this worksheet's calculated dates.

Thanks for sharing this idea. Would the worksheet values drive conditions in the automation? If not, what did you have in mind?
