Roadmap with milestones on visual Gantt Merged

It would be good to create a roadmap report (with visual Gantt) that shows not only the overall timeline of related Initiatives based on 2 identified fields (available today), but break the Gantt chart down into milestones based on other custom date fields.

I know I can create a pivot report with the data but that lacks the visual element of a gantt view.
