Our team has been managing product enhancement requests through the Jira ticket system. We would like to replace this system with a public Ideas portal in Aha. The problem is that we've gathered so much useful information in the Jira tickets, including uploaded attachments and comments/conversation adding context to the issue, that we lose our most valuable data by doing a CSV export.
Would it ever be possible to support mapping a Jira ticket to a task in an ideas portal instead of a feature or initiative? This would support a more comprehensive migration into the Aha Ideas portal and better enable us to replace the "enhancement request" ticket category in Jira.
Hi there, thank you for your idea. We do not currently have plans to support ideas in the Jira integration. However, for the use case you describe, one option to consider would be to use our API to create ideas. This may help you retain more of the important details you mentioned when creating the ideas from Jira. Here is a link to our API documentation. I hope this helps!
