The Starter Roadmap should include releases from the parking lot for selection
We keep planned but not yet started releases within the "parking lot" to keep the features board clean. The issue is that for our "Starter Roadmap" we cannot leverage these releases for planning. Can we please include all non-completed releases for selection?

Thank you for your idea. The reason parking lots are not available to show in the starter roadmap is because they do not have dates. One work around would be to move features into an Up next release that does include dates, allowing those features to be shown on the roadmap.
At this time, due to the explanation above we are unlikely to allow parking lots to be added to the starter roadmap. We hope you can understand.

Because of this specific product limitation > https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-11078 [Unable to drag and drop items on custom roadmaps], folks like myself look to trying to do a work around of just dealing with the starter roadmap. However, it is not possible to do so because it does not allow for parking lot releases. So we are forced to deal with managing the roadmap in Monday.com and integrations to pass the data over into Aha. This is not ideal as having to manage two roadmaps.
For additional background: To prevent other stakeholder teams (e.g. Sales) from promising capabilities on dates before there is high confidence that the feature is in fact making that release, we do not tag features until releases until we are very certain it will make that particular release. Those features are listed in parking lot releases until then. But we cannot easily change the timelines or order for those items under parking lot releases via drag and drop functionality in either starter roadmap or custom roadmap.
And despite there being an option for Showing Parking Lot items on the Features Roadmap screen, it does not work according to support email thread and was directed to vote for https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/AFPR-I-7618 Remove "Show/Hide Parking Lots" setting from Releases > Gantt view.

Bringing this back up in affiliation with Teamwork now being available. This idea was created before Teamwork's conception. Our organization utilizes parking lots in Teamwork as local projects and this would be pivotal in being able to bring these records into a roadmap view in Roadmaps. You are able to create filters for team names/workspaces, but unable to bring that work at the release level in. We have a separate idea created for adding date ranges to parking lots as well.
