My Kanban is reasonably complex and I'd really like to get more of it in the available screen width, to do that I'd need to make the columns narrower.
Thank you for the idea. Given the low volume of support for this idea, we do not have plans to make updates in this area at this time.
The order of items in a (kanban) board is critical in our organisation - it denotes priority of the tasks. Re-ordering is a critical task that needs to be done at the start of a release and continually during. Even with the current card controls, it is difficult to see more than 7-8 cards with minimal information. In part this is because meaningful card titles span 3+ lines.
Ideally I would be able to show 2-3 columns of the releases I am most concerned with and then make the column wider/much wider to allow more items when dragging to re-order.
Either that or allow the "Prioritisation" views to change the order of items as they appear in the board view. The "Prioritisation" view allows 16 rows on my screen and shows much more detail. The downside to that style view is that I cannot easily move items between releases.
Same, but I'd like mine a little wider to conserve vertical space.
