Embed an image into a field vs attaching it

Currently we are able to insert images into our text in JIRA and this is helpful in how we format our content. Would love to be able to insert the image into a specific spot vs just attach it to the field.

    Thank you for your idea. This is currently possible using the Image icon in the text editor.

    Hi Tim,

    I do still see the image icon in the text editor.

    Is there a specific field where it is missing for you?

    I don't see the image icon anymore. Was it removed?
