Option to show unique data points on a custom roadmap, rather than duplicates, when multiple fields are specified

Adding multiple fields to a cell in a custom roadmap report causes multiple repeating bars to be shown (one for each distinct value). See screenshot for illustration.
It would be great if these values could be shown inline. Much like they are on the strategy roadmap when multiple goals appear after a single initiative that delivers against them.

PS - The audience really struggles with this is and it is one of the main reasons that I have to recreate the roadmap in power point. For the product team it is not an issue, but our execs and account management team do not like it.

i am actually struggling in understanding why having multiple repeating bars would ever make sense? how do people use the feature as is? my use case has to do with showing which goals an initiative tracks to. By design, an initiative can track to more than one goal, but can't think of a good way to display that in a roadmap without ending up with duplicate initiative records displaying.
