Remove 'Will not implement' releases from active releases

I added a new status to the releases workflow, "Abandoned" and set the status to "Will not implement". However, these releases are still showing in release drop-downs in the active section. I need to scroll through them every time I use the drop-down.

It would be nice if they didn't appear on the list or showed in their own section below 'Shipped'

Thank you for your idea. We do not have plans at this time to address this but we will continue to monitor customer feedback on this idea.

In the meantime, one solution for handling this now would be to change the status category to "Shipped." This will remove the releases from the list of active releases in filters by moving them into the shipped releases section.

I understand the workaround presented by the Admin, but it would be useful to quickly see that a release was planned, maybe worked some, and then Abandoned rather than Shipped.  To me, Shipped sounds like the release was worked through to the end and does not imply that we make the specific decision to walk away from the project.

This information at a glance can be critically important to saving a meeting from going down the wrong trail and creating work that is later discovered to be duplicate of a decision to specifically not implement an idea or release.
