As a Product Owner, whose user stories are dependent on other user stories, features or ideas, I want to see the links between those other tickets so I can understand impact of other teams and can coordinate with other Product Owners to ensure the dependencies are being worked on.
Currently, if I don't have access to another team's backlog, I cannot see whether or not my user story or feature are linked to any others. This is impeding my ability to identify why tickets are blocked or if another ticket needs to be worked on before mine.
Hello Chris -
I understand that the concept of having access is a way to go. However, that has a lot of administration to set up on a large organization. The idea that Jill proposed I think is invaluable because this will allow those that are dependent on something the ability to see but not add more confusion to the team working on it.
Otherwise, we will need to grant everyone permission to everything and not focus on what they need to work on.
Can you please either reconsider or have one of your product owners jump on a call to explain our problem and see if there is a different approach that would still meet our needs?
If you need to be able to see features in other products then you will need to be granted access to at least view those products.
If you do not have permission to see records in a product then Aha! intentionally does not allow you to see the names or statuses of the features (or other records) in that product.
